Jatin Bhatt Principles

Seven rules I keep coming back to.

Short, because a rule you can't remember isn't one.

  1. Look at the system from first principles, without biases.

    Progress starts there.

  2. I would not start any new initiative in week one.

    Listen first. Then move.

  3. The data says where. Users say why.

    Numbers first, then one-on-ones.

  4. A path dies when the data disproves the hypothesis without ambiguity.

Not before. Not because it is uncomfortable.

  5. I for the calls. We for the execution.

    Ownership, stated accurately.

  6. Long-term perception over short-term revenue.

    A brand outlives the offer.

  7. Perfection is predictable. Predictable is boring.

The ring on the home page isn't quite round. On purpose.

Rules 3 and 5, in use: the Miracle of Mind case.

Talk

If the seat is about specifying what to build and getting it shipped, I would like to talk.

Three breaths

Breathe in

Three breaths. That was the whole onboarding.
